Left home in Lightwood and headed off to meet Stone-Wheelers in Stone. Belly got in touch with me earlier to let me know that he couldn’t make it as he was staying in London over night, but could i meet his girl friend Lynn in Trentham, as she was coming a long. Now you thinking a girl! Onward to Gnossal now but every time we seemed to get a rhythm...

Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page. I got into cycling because bad knees couldn’t take football any more. Did a duathlon in 2005, and preferred the cycling so took that up as my main hobby. Have been cycling more seriously in the last 18 months after getting on the scales in January 2008 and looking at 14 stone plus on them, i thought better do something about it, now weighing under 12 stone i probably feeling fitter than i,ve ever been. Wednesday, 18 June 2014. Regular visitors to this page will have noticed a paucity of posts over the last few months. This has in part been due to an accident-induced lack of riding and therefore lack of inspiration on my part, but also as my energies and thoughts have been elsewhere on a separate 'cross related project. Either way, visit our blog at http:/ fluentincross.wordpress.com. To check in on our progress and get a feel for some of the content to come. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

crossjunkie: November 2013

Friday, 29 November 2013. Introducing the On One Pickenflick. Ignore the Planet X frame sticker - it's an On One! Looks absolutely gorgeous - a sleek, Georg Jensen. Left rounded rather than. Flattened and is still super comfy to carry, as many 3 Peaks-style Bull Hill sessions have proven as well as 2 outings in the Peaks itself. Did I say clearance? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). crossjunkie: Chute
http://crossjunkie.blogspot.com/2014/04/chute.html
Friday, 4 April 2014. Chute, valpartij, incidente, choque. But what of the amateur or recreational cyclist, one for whom riding (and therefore it's flip side, crashing) is merely a hobby, an obsessive one perhaps, but not a means of making a living from day to day. How does the act of falling from one's bike, self-inflicted or otherwise pan out in a life only part-lived on and for the bike? Go and get yourself checked out if you have a big crash. Notions of epic suffering, being tough, Pro and the li...
