Sunday, February 02, 2014. Our January, in a nutshell. David finally got some handhelds for the climbing wall! Instead of toys, we bought the boys gift cards to Main Event. We all had fun bowling and playing laser tag. We enjoyed our fireplace more in the last month than we have in the last ten years! We bought (at the Goodwill) and put together another set of bunkbeds, and so we donated the blue car bed to the Boy Scout yardsale. They were a little sad to see it go. Monday, December 31, 2012. Early early Christmas morning we were awakened by thunderstorms. They went on and on for hours. We even opened presents to the sounds of thunder. Very interesting. A first! Then, just as they predicted, the storms turned to snow as the day went on. By noon or so, it was really snowing! By the end of the afternoon we had a couple of inches! Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Here are some highlights from the last couple of weeks. Please don't think we did this all in a day or two. ;o). Merrick was asking about the moon one night, so the next day we broke into our two packages of JoJo's from Trader Joe's and did this activity about phases of the moon. Friday, January 31, 2014. This month, our littlest man turned four years old. It's hard to believe that he is so big already. The cliche is true. Time flies. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Grasslands Trail Half Marathon 3-23-2013. After eleven weeks of training, it was finally time to race! David was out of town, and one of my biggest stresses was taking care of the kids while I was gone. The little ones attended a swimming birthday party for their friend Daniella, and we had a swimming play date with some new friends in our stake that I met at cub camp.
