In talking with the fourth grade teachers, quick recall of the facts is the one skill that is most important during fourth grade math classes. We will be practicing on Xtramath.org. We were very privileged to have a special visitor today, Wally Dimmack, who carried the Olympic torch! He very kindly drew the lottery for our school Olympic tickets and unveiled the winners of our Olympic mascot competition. He was a torch bearer in Sparkhill, Birmingham last Sunday and was chosen because he coached swimming in the Wolverhampton area for an incredible 50 years! July 13, 2012.
