Skip to left sidebar. Skip to right sidebar. BLOGGING ABOUT A NEW IMPERIAL FIST PROJECT. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Product Review: Forgeworld Imperial Fist Decals. The Imperial Fist decals. I ordered from Forgeworld finally showed up on my doorstep the other day. All in all, it is a pretty good sheet. There were a few printing glitches here and there, but it is a welcome addition for the squad markings because my freehand leaves much to be desired. And the tactical arrow:. Brian Carlson Miniatures: Union Test Model - Wild West Exodus
http://briancarlsonminiatures.blogspot.com/2015/04/union-test-model-wild-west-exodus.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Union Test Model - Wild West Exodus. I had some fun painting up my first Wild West Exodus model. I figured I would take it easy and start with a line trooper to figure out the color scheme and progression. After a few takes, I ended up lightning up both the jacket and pants as well as changed the leather strapping from black to brown. It looked cool dark, but ultimately the details got lost. Hope you enjoy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Union Test Model - Wild West Exodus.

Brian Carlson Miniatures: Malcador Infernus - Flame on!
http://briancarlsonminiatures.blogspot.com/2015/03/malcador-infernus-flame-on.html
Friday, March 20, 2015. Malcador Infernus - Flame on! Yes this model's rules are a bit wonky but it should explode in glorious fashion! I ended up magnetizing the ball joint so I can transport it easier, it is one long model. Looking forward to the Adepticon Friendly the 13th, we've run the event the last 2 years and have had a blast in the process. On for some crazy fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brian Carlson Miniatures: Wild West Exodus - Awesome Kickstarter
http://briancarlsonminiatures.blogspot.com/2015/03/wild-west-exodus-awesome-kickstarter.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. Wild West Exodus - Awesome Kickstarter. Being a big fan of Jim Wappel's blog, I couldn't help but look at the cool Wild West Exodus miniatures. They really are some amazing sculpts and I love the whole theme. So at Adepticon I picked up a couple factions (Union and Holy Order) and the rulebook. The kickstarter is a great chance to get some good discounts on getting into the game. I'm really digging the Golden Army and the Confederates. Check it out when you get the chance! I spent...

Brian Carlson Miniatures: Team Tournament - Our Finished Product!
http://briancarlsonminiatures.blogspot.com/2015/03/team-tournament-our-finished-product.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. Team Tournament - Our Finished Product! Adepticon has come and gone, and we had an awesome time. Our team, the Adeptus Film Co. runs the 40k Friendly and we had a ton of fun orchestrating the shenanigans of the Friday tournament. If you played in it, I hope you had a good time! In the middle of the ruined city we did a flickering light lift where the knight titan rose up to help out the embattled city. Now the big debate on which army we pick and how to theme it. Greg, very cool!

I'm almost finished with two more Imperial Knights (posted as soon as they are done) as well as a Warhound Titan. Got some strange looks from the cashier. Here's all the terrain I've been building. lots of manufacturers! Demo's Laser Cut Designs. Shops, and Office Building. Modern day houses, and all of the silos. Futuristic linked buildings and shipping containers.

Brian Carlson Miniatures: October 2013

Monday, October 7, 2013. City Tiles for Infinity. Here's my example straight road tiles. The roads are 5" wide which seems to be about right for two of the Antenocitis Workshop cars to drive side by side. The "blank" tiles will be raised by one level so they're flush with the sides of the road. I'll go and pick up some textured paint to lay down, it should go pretty easy. Hopefully this will give me some quick and effective city tiles. I'm really looking forward to doing some fountains, parks, etc. Its t...
