For right now, I am fighting a nasty cold and trying to find ways to calm the restlessness inside me. First thing first – I am going to try and sweat it out in a hot Vinyasa yoga class. In just a short time of being in the state we were off and on our way to Moab, UT to go to Arches National Park with some friends. This was my first time going to a National Park as far as my memory serves. I consider this a BFD (big flippin’ deal). To put it lightly, it was breathtaking. And stopped to hike some chosen spots. In January I was offered and accepted a job with the Lee County Bar Association as their Lawyer Referral Service Coordinator. My job with the LCBA was very perplexing and I’m realizing just how much I learned during my year there. January also included a move to Cape Coral. What’s freaking me out the most is my dwindling bank account and my discomfort in having other people “support” me financially. I really have a hard time with that. Also frustrated in knowing that most jobs I apply for will only pay me something between $10-$12/hour. I’m worth so much more than that…. Next post →.

UPDATE: A late entry! Publishing Shows Hint of Revival. The New York Times home page this evening reads like something out of revelations. I don’t know what could make the current batch of headlines any worse: we have economic downfall, a natural disaster, riots, famine, war. Enough. There has to be some good news. So to save you some time, here’s what I could find. And hopefully by the end of reading this you’ll feel like getting out of bed again tomorrow…. All hail the CHF – close to record highs!
