April 15, 2012. This past winter I purchased a PF50R Honda Amigo moped. I quickly learned that this vehicle is relatively rare in America. While I was able to find parts and service manuals, most of the reference materials and parts websites are in Dutch. It seems this model is very popular in Holland and Belgium (where mine was manufactured.). The first big source of information in English was actually on the backup of Geocities. A blog of my restoration of a CG125 1977 model. Saturday, 26 May 2012. CG125 - paint removal. It's been a while but I stripped off the paint from the CG125 frame , swinging arm and bits and pieces. Sunday, 29 May 2011. CD90Z - head and cylinder. 163;22 and invested in the set of five sockets. Approximately one minute after walking into my garage I had removed the offending bolt. A blog of my restoration of a CG125 1977 model. Friday, 9 December 2011. CG125 - spare engine in bits. Valves out next but here is the head as taken off. Barrel is probably useable as is with a bit of cleaning up. There doesn't appear to be any scoring or signs of overheating, just some lightish rust which I'm hoping will polish out. Piston is also not scored. Rings were not broken and again once cleaned up it may well be serviceable. This engine is slightly later than the complete engine.

Sunday, 12 December 2010. Well this would be nice, not perfect but a lot better than the rusty bike I have now! My latest job has been to chop the spokes off the front wheel to prepare the hub for re-spoking. Offsets measured and photos taken of course! I am considering which paint system to use, I quite fancy the KBS paint system http:/ www.therustshop.com/shop/. Which looks like it could possibly be better than POR-15 over bare metal.
