Sygnett's 400 days! Last Day in New Zealand! I spent my last day in New Zealand visiting Hamner Springs, I hit up the Sulfur Pools and went 4-wheeling! I got yelled at for putting my head under the water… supposedly you are not. To do that when you are swimming in a sulfur pool! I don’t know why I choose to go 4-wheeling- but it turned out to be really fun! It was my first time actually driving one! Okay- so I didn’t think I would be getting this dirty… thank god they gave us boots to wear! Out and About...

Sygnett's 400 days! Today I went to Milford Sound! How many times have I said this already about New Zealand? Anyway- this place is a MUST SEE! We took a bus down through the canyons and into the sound and hopped onto a cruise boat, had a great lunch, and floated through the sound! I have been horrible about posting-so I just threw a billion pictures on this post… Im trying my best to finish these NZ posts up… it can be really time consuming! Sygnett's 400 days! 13th day in NZ! Today I hopped onto a bus that took me across country! And it only took 5 hours! I had to go from Queenstown to Christchurch in order to catch my plane ride back to boring Iraq! Our first stop was a town with a huge ass fish sculture… I dont know what it is, but when I was in australia- we saw a bunch of random sculptures similar to this one. Strange. I’ve been in the office helping out bunches, and I moved. I now have my own room! I’m reorganizing a bunch of my stuff, so it’s a bit messy for the time being, but I’ll get pics posted soon… it’s quite cozy! It’s sort of a mini-vacation… I am here with Jess because our captain wanted us to see other parts of Iraq before we left. We may not (hopefully) get a chance to come back here anytime soon. It was a great day… we did a tour of some of the palaces on base and got to see another concert tonight. It was a good concert and I’m glad that we decided to check it out. So it’s well known in the military that females get “prettier” during deployments… mainly for the fact that there are less of us to go around than in the States. The term given to the females who go up a few notches while deployed is “desert queen”. They get a lot more guys ogling and asking them out than they would while at home. So I smoke now? April 11, 2010 at 9:41 pm. Before you go chewing me out… I don’t really smoke… not cigarettes at least. I still tell people on a daily basis that cigarettes will kill them. I’ve always like cigars, and now I really like hookah. Is essentially a large, water-cooled pipe. You use flavored tobacco, which is really tasty. It took me awhile to get the hang of it. 400 days 'til 40. August 28, 2013. How do we keep ourselves realand all the time. “Be true to yourself.” These words are actually on a sticky note on my computer screen to keep me aware. It doesn’t feel good to fake anything. But, there are times when I feel it’s my only answer in certain situations. I worry about this and it keeps me up at night.
