Next Weeks Project Is…. A Year from Scratch. Laquo; felting (hats) and melting (snow). A hommage to my mom (& how to make yogurt! A basket of fun! April 10, 2011 by gardenofsimple. I tend to not be much of a TV watcher, let alone a reality TV watcher. But in 2009, when I was living in the UK, I became obsessed with a reality TV show … Victorian Farm. Yup, I just gained about 100 nerd points). Warm water and something to soak the reed in. For anyone looking for supplies in Toronto, I highly recommend Bamb...

http://indecisivemindramblings.blogspot.com/2011/11/weve-been-had.html
Sunday, November 27, 2011. You always hear all kinds of things about identity theft, etc, etc .but when it hits so close to home, it's scary! Total invasion of privacy! Fast forward to last Sunday, November 20th. I was fed up with all the mail piling up on the counter. The numerous people who come to check on Gus can attest to the fact that there is ALWAYS a pile sitting there! I opened the statement and see an interest charge of $115. Ummm, what? I've never seen Tim move so fast. He called Visa imme...

Monday, November 26, 2012. A Most Festive Weekend. We had a lovely and festive weekend! Saturday started off nice and mellow with some hanging around the house and working on a few projects here and there. In the afternoon we walked downtown to enjoy our little town's Festival of Light. We watched the parade and then enjoyed some more festivities in the park. My favourite part was taking Parker on a horse-drawn wagon ride. I think the whole thing was a little overwhelming for him! Grandma and Grandpa Mac...

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Friday, December 21, 2012. Jolly Old St. Nick. I really find it hard to believe that Christmas is in a mere 4 days! Monday, October 8, 2012. We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with Grandma and Gramps Cooper (my parents)! We walked around town, strolled through the last farmer's market of the season, did an easy hike to the source of the Nakusp hot springs, drank lots of tea and coffee, baked pies and of course, ate turkey. Here are some pictures from the weekend. It has been lovely! Thursday, October 4, 2012. Burlap Banners and Birds. Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Well, it is here! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A hammer in every sewing kit. May 19, 2015. Once is year is a perfectly acceptable update schedule, shut your face. So what have I been up to? Oh, you know. Stuff. Basically, I work on the computer all day and then at the end of the day I want to go do other things so I haven’t been updating. At all. I was going to say “As much” but we both know I mean “At all”. On to the projects! This post is going to be cross stitch heavy, because that’s mostly what I’ve been doing. And tagged Alisa Collection. Then l...

A hammer in every sewing kit. June 15, 2015. The other day I was faffing about in Instagram when someone posted a picture of a bulk pack of lime green acrylic yarn from Spotlight (Spotlight is a chain here in Australia selling craft stuff and homewares). “Ew! 8221; said the comments. “Gross! 8221; Not so much the colour, apparently, as the fact it was cheap acrylic. “Oh do fuck off” I said to myself, and unfollowed the yarn snob. A hammer in every sewing kit. May 25, 2016. Anyoldway, as much as I love my old handbag. It’s actually gone from “Nicely roomy” to “too big too big! 8221; I’d like to say I’ve made a smaller one in an effort to streamline my life and embrace a minimalist ideal, but really it’s just because I’m fed the fuck up hunting for my keys/lighter/phone/purse in a big bag. I’ve been eyeing off the tutorial for this bag. Not at all full of shit! This entry was posted in Bags and purses. February 28, 2016. So basical...
