Circumstances channelled me back on my other then passion, mechanical 40 ton monsters that formed the haulage industry! There’s something very therapeutic for me, about driving a 44ton truck across Europe, I can say, for one, the great distances afforded me the time to think, and think I did! The hours days weeks months and even years at the wheel, became my ‘lab’ time. Many of my theories came from this period in my life, and I had reached a point where I felt ready to share my findings! How wrong I was!
