A Disciple's Quest. Here I share articles and experiences related to my journey as a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ…. Facts Every Man Ought to Know. June 30, 2015. A Disciple's Quest. The signs of the times are NOT signs that we should stop living. Life goes on bcos Jesus said He will never leave us or forsake us even till the end of the world. Words of Joy: Letting go and moving on
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015/07/letting-go-and-moving-on_10.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Friday, 10 July 2015. Letting go and moving on. Much of my life lately has felt like a waiting season where I gaze wistful as others go about their days. A place where quiet speaks loud of all God desires me to hear. For several months now I've been asked to sit still, to rest, to learn the value of silence and contemplation as I pace and recover from a relapse in the M.E symptoms. Words of Joy' has a new home at wordsofjoy.me.

Heart Condition | Susan Irene Fox
https://susanirenefox.com/heart-condition-a-prayer-for-unity
Jesus follower, peacemaker, unfinished human. John 17:20-21 I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. A Prayer for Unity. When Jesus holds out his wounded hands and beckons to us to follow him, do our hearts struggle to follow his commands? When we as Christians in the Western world label ourselves Republ...

Words of Joy: February 2015
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Saturday, 28 February 2015. When creativity lies dormant. Words sing in my spirit, seeking their exit. Ready to explode upon the page. I hug some close, for now is not their time. They must lie dormant and wait a while. A poetry anthology (or 2). Sit on the back-burner, simmering slow. A set of prayer whispers and devotional prayers lie stagnant. All that is within me cries out "Really? And He's more interested in growing Holy Spi...

Words of Joy: March 2015
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. Making room for rest. March came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. On the cusp of the month I heard gentle, persuasive roarings from the Lion of Judah as He made it clear to me that I should take a blogging break. Only here's the rub it was to be for an unspecified time but definitely a month at least. Ideas and inspiration were still flowing freely but the energy to execute them wasn't. Or at least ...

Words of Joy: A prayer for those who are in waiting
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-prayer-for-those-who-in-waiting.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Wednesday, 29 January 2014. A prayer for those who are in waiting. One of the hardest things we have to do in life is to wait for things. As an instant gratification society, waiting seems anachronistic and decidedly unwelcome. Shouldn't everything happen straightaway at the push of a button? Not necessarily. The best things in life are worth waiting for. Only, it can all take so long. We wonder if we've been forgotten about.

Words of Joy: Out of darkness
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015/06/out-of-darkness.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Wednesday, 24 June 2015. I sense my soul leaning toward the light as I sit in situations of struggle. Stretched yearningly like a plant desperate for its source of warmth and nourishment. And I'm encouraged by things stirring in the muddy undergrowth, tentatively appearing as signs of life. Sun's rays are starting to steal bright across azure-blue of sky and hope's fingers reach for better tomorrows. I desire to achieve. Think tha...

Words of Joy: Making space for joy
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2014/02/making-space-for-joy.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Wednesday, 19 February 2014. Making space for joy. All is quiet on the home front for a little while. Our sweet twelve week old grandson sleeps sound, his exhausted mother rests, father and grandpa are shopping, the washing machine. Whirrs soft and I am alone. I sense room to breathe, exhale tension and tiredness and inhale grace. Make space for Holy Spirit utterance. Lean in and listen for His voice. Jesus bent low to come to Ear...

Words of Joy: April 2015
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Friday, 24 April 2015. Don't hide your light. Sometimes a word appears in due season. A word meant to be shared. Flowing freely as it invades the mind with inspiration. A touch and gift of grace. Such is the word I'm sharing today as I join. In with the liberating, free-form creative writing exercise which is five minute friday. I want you to know these things:. God hasn't hidden Himself from you. Creation breathes His Presence.

Words of Joy: May 2015
http://wordsofjoy75.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Pause a while to ponder issues of life and faith through poetry and prose. Friday, 29 May 2015. Here in the UK we seem to have an endless fascination with the weather. Which way is the wind blowing? Will or won't it rain? Do I need a brolly? Better carry one just in case. It's a great conversation opener and very much the topic du jour. On a day when we've had sheeting rain, clear blue skies and everything in-between it feels apt to be writing on the topic of 'Blue'. Or surging strong into orange. Blue i...
