410 Bridge and North Point - Kenya Team Aug 28 - Sep 08. Friday, September 5, 2008. Friday, September 5. Today we arrived at the Havilla Children's Home in Nairobi, Kenya. This orphanage is home to 46 children, a couple of chaperones for the separate boys and girls dorms, and the couple who runs the home, Joseph and Salome. The amazing thing about Joseph and Salome is that all of the children refer to them as Mom and Dad. They truly feel like, and interact like a big family. Saturday, September 6.

The Serena Lodge was also amazing. The rooms, landscaping, and food were all top notch. Tomorrow morning, the team heads for Havilla (orophanage), and the Parker's will visit their Compassion child.
