Brushing and flossing helps control the bacteria and plaque that builds up in your mouth and can cause gum disease and tooth decay. If plaque is not removed it will begin to destroy bone and gums. It’s best to brush at least twice a day especially before going to bed at night. And like it or not, you need to floss every day! How often should I go to the dentist? It depends on the patient, not on the jingle.
