My adventures down under. Monday, November 29, 2010. Wrote my final medical school exam on sunday afternoon. And in 2 weeks time i'll finally be able to add those extra 2 letters in front of my name. It's been an incredible 4 years to say the least. Although i'll miss the discounted bus fare and the cheap movie tickets, i'm glad i'm moving onto the next chapter of my life. Well, i've got about 7 weeks until intern life starts. Friday, November 12, 2010. But this got me thinking. Why is this important?

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Not going to happen this year. 2010km in 2010 is just not going to be accomplished. I will re-evaluate where I could have prevented myself from injuiries, and keep a consistent running base. My goal will be to finish strong and keep my 35km /wk target until Dec 31. After which I will set-up 2011km in 2011, and attack it with a better plan, with race schedule and training targets. Until then, happy holidays! It's probably because I was traveling alone and hauling 50 kg of stuff into the country. None of them knew what abalone was. I've pretty much unpacked and settled in.
