In our absence we had a freezing water pipe accident, but by the time we arrived on Saturday, Bill, our trusty neighbor, had not only fixed the pipes, but rerouted and insulated some problem areas. Here's the problem: I don't own a car so it would have to easily attach to any rental car I happen to have. Does such a thing exist? May 27, 2010 at 6:20 AM. 4 boats is the limit for most regular car systems. You would need a roof-rack with long cross-bars or a trailer. Neither option sounds feasible for rental car.
