Friday, April 11, 2014. Finished The CB360 Now It's Sold. Well here are the last pictures of the CB360. The thing screams now and is a blast to ride. As with all my bikes I build, I've already sold it so somebody else can now have the joy of riding a kick ass vintage and allow me to build another. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Middle Class Chops Boise: June 2012
http://mccboise.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 15, 2012. My deal is that I still want to retain the ability to throw a passenger on. Think I'll use their idea of slamming the bike but I'll build a brat style seat with a possible removable tail section. Will add a different headlight, clip-ons and leave the tank stock. Should be pretty sick. Labels: Triumph Tiger 750 TR7RV. You Are Not Forgotten. Friday, June 8, 2012. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Whistle Pig Hunting Idaho. Sunday, June 3, 2012. Middle Class Chops Boise: New Bars for the CB360 Brat
http://mccboise.blogspot.com/2013/06/new-bars-for-cb360-brat.html
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. New Bars for the CB360 Brat. Haven't been doing a whole lot to the Brat lately but I did get around to making a set of bars. Wanted to do something I haven't seen before. Put them in the same position at clip-ons but made a 1 piece handlebar that mounts under the triple tree. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Subscribe To Middle Class. Middle Class Chops Boise: October 2013
http://mccboise.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 30, 2013. My buddy Dallas stopped by one day and I told him that I really needed a set of mufflers to get the exhaust extended past the rear axle and quiet the beast down. He just happened to have a set of Harley take offs in the back of his truck. A little cutting and welding later and I had them mounted up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Put them in the same position at clip-ons but made a 1 piece handlebar that mounts under the triple tree. I wasn't happy with the lines of my first set of pipes, so I set out to redesign them. Much better now. While I was in the mood, I also tackled a new sissy bar since the first one was a bit wonky.

The Stuart Parr Collection - Art of the Italian Two Wheel - NYC. Exhibition and what finally got me back into the city. It's open through July 18th (and it's FREE), and is definitely worth checking out. Here's some pics of the trip. I took a lot and was going to post them all, but there's just too many. We were greeted by a '64 Aermacchi Ala Azzurra at the door, a very good sign. Definitely not abandoned looking anymore. Side case cutaway in weight saving, aesthetically pleasing, sexy-Italian kind of way.

Removing Ducati 900SS security bolts. Besides swapping out the stem and triple clamp, and fixing the electrical issues on the 900SS, I need to replace the old ignition switch. Apparently Ducati bolted the ignition switch on the upper triple clamp with conical bolts to prevent theft, I don't know why, but they did. Now I have to figure out why the aftermarket tachometer has power on the bike, but when I turn the ignition on, the tail light and signals flash and then go out. Ducati 900SS in for work.

It's the smallest parts that cause the biggest problems. Idle jet clogged solid, don't know how debris made it past 2 filtering screens but it did. The only thing I had small enough to fit in the jet prior to chemical cleaning. Labels: dellorto ub carb. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). NJ, United States.
