My friends call me Drew.and since that happens to be the name on my birth certificate, most everyone else calls me Drew too. I'm a big fan of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness along with seeing those ideals be realized by others. I think Clif Bars are one of the best inventions of all time and I consider myself a dog person (with hedgehogs, horses, cats, and ferrets coming in a close second). And in May, I hit the road promoting a "service to others" lifestyle. You may be asking yourself. 3 See...

Monday, July 2, 2012. June 17th - 23rd. This week kicked off the first of many volunteer opportunities serving lunch at The DeForest Community and Senior Center. This week's Summer of 12 staff included Jagger and Delaney Lokken and their mom Deanna, Mallory and TJ Taylor and their grandparents Paula and Tom, and Donovan and Braeden Wendt and mom Lisa. I needed a faster camera to keep up with the kids. Delaney is a blur here as she delivers bags of dark chocolate covered cashews to each place setting.

Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Project 6 - Operation Humpty Dumpty - DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce - July 11th. Kelsey said. We had to work with a lot of cracked eggs and put them back together. I took all the broken parts and set them aside to be put in the trash. Then I helped Mom match the eggs. Meta thought this activity was fun. We sorted Easter Eggs. We had to snap the Easter eggs unless they were already snapped. There were a lot! Another Summer of 12 project complete! Thanks for following us!
