38HDU: July 2011
http://38hdu.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 22, 2011. Stumbled across this picture on Cay Broendum's blog, but it may originally be from our friend Mr. Decker:. Does a way better job than I can at describing how incredible the Harley DAH is. Suffice it to say DAH stands for 750cc, ALCOHOL Hillclimber, a super rare HD factory hillclimber, one of 20 made. Note OHV! I'll bet this thing screams! Monday, July 4, 2011. My new favorite bobber. Stumbled across this bike. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cay Broendum Spare Time.

38HDU: November 2011
http://38hdu.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. Non-motorcycle post, but pretty amazing, nonetheless:. Turning that crankshaft on an old school lathe kills me. Even his vernier caliper is old school. Sunday, November 6, 2011. The "45 Competition Special". Went to an antique show today with HarleyWidow, and found this letter in a binder of Harley stuff. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saturday, August 6, 2011. Cossacks at Seattle Mystery Parade. Looking for some vintage ads for Bitmonkey, and stumbled across some kinda-cool old Seattle Cossack parade photos from the 50's. They were sponsored by the VFW at this time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cay Broendum Spare Time. Cannonball Pre-1916 Transcontinental Race. The Panhead and Flathead Site. Thursday, December 6, 2012. This one's for Kalli. December 6, 2012 at 8:58 PM. You suppose its a means to chase cars more effectively? I assume its a BMW or TWM given the the origin of the dogs. 38HDU: Getting "schooled"
http://38hdu.blogspot.com/2013/08/getting-schooled.html
Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Lately I have noticed a tendency for my "U" to lurch more than usual at low RPM, especially in 3rd gear, at about 25 mph, and in 4th, at about 35 mph. Unfortunately those two speeds are pretty prevalent on Seattle streets. Long story short, I adjusted both chains, and it rides like a new bike! I think it's pretty cool when my 75 year old motorcycle manages to teach me something new. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Cay Broendum Spare Time. The Panhead and Flathead Site.

38HDU: September 2011
http://38hdu.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. Garage Co. Coolness. If you haven't visited the Garage Company. Blog recently, you need to. Kiyo looks to be putting the finishing touches on this Knuck:. For those of you who don't know, Kiyo is the one who rebuilt my '38 "U" motor. It has run flawlessly for the whole Cossack season. As an added bonus, there are pics of Kiyo and a friend riding from L.A. to Bonneville. I still think Kiyo's Knuck is the coolest bike around, and I'll bet it runs better than it looks.
