Saturday, June 11. It was lovely staying with friends again and getting a good nights sleep, and a good shower in the morning. We had a short visit, assured our hosts that we would be back soon, and took off for Eugene. We decided not to visit Crader Lake this time. All but the one road to the lake are still closed with 100 inches of snow on the ground. They have had 300 times the normal snow fall this year. We will come back soon. Didn't we just leave? Thursday, June 9. Thank you Megan, Martha, and Howard; that was the perfect stop. We packed and got out slowly, we even rinsed the camper for the long drive home. It is official, we are getting home around 1:00pm on Monday. We rarely, if ever, plan this far in advance but with so many schedules, so many miles, and wanting our return to be just right, we made a plan. But that was all this evening. Now that we have made plans for getting home, we will try to get to sleep. Wish us luck. Sunday, June 12.

Sunday, June 5. We made it into Yosemite Park and got a campsite after ignoring and passing two Campground Full signs. We had to empty our camper into the bear box. But with 100s of campers around us, I think we will be okay. More tomorrow when we have Internet service, this note is being slowly typed out on my phone. Sent from my iPhone. Entrance to Yosemite was beautiful. There were giant rocks all around and. Moss was covering everything. Spring is the flooding season here. So the waterfalls and rivers were at their fullest. Seemed like there would be a wave of water coming toward us,. I dont know how all that water got out of the valley. The peaks that Yosemite is so famous for. Saw some climbers on one.
