Two Weeks to Reach our Goal. Two Weeks to Reach our Goal. The 49 Faces Kickstarter Campaign enters its final two weeks. The project had enjoyed generous support from 28 backers in the first two-thirds of our campaign. We still have a big climb ahead to reach our goal by October 2nd. In our virtual Denali West Buttress climb analogy. We are still just below Kahiltna Pass at about 9900 feet. It’s still a long way to the summit, but we are confident that we can still get there. I joined Shasta Hood, Sarah Heck, and Paul Forward for a 4th of July trip to Happy River in the Alaska Range. Shasta did the logistics work and got us flights for $325 each, flying to Rainy Pass and from Skwentna.
