Austin Six: The Flying Pig 2015
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-flying-pig-2015.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The Flying Pig 2015. Last weekend I participated in the Flying Pig Half Marathon in Cincinnati. It was my first half marathon and it was SO MUCH FUN! I was so nervous that something would go wrong, shin splint, hip pain, etc. I am not going to say it didn't hurt, because it did! But it was so worth it! A few pictures from after the race:. Will I do it again? 131 miles is a really long run, very physically exhausting, but such a rewarding experience. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Austin Six: November 2011
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. During the month of November there is a trend on Facebook to name one thing you are thankful for each day. I cannot remember to post everyday, but I am very thankful for so many things. I am thankful for God's plan for my life. I am thankful that God sheds such grace, when I certainly don't deserve it. I made the life changing decision to follow Christ as a young teenager. Needless to say, I have strayed from Him in the past 18 years, but He never stopped loving me. It was tons...

Monday, February 17, 2014. Oh my, how time flies! I cannot count the people that have reminded me of how quickly your children grow up. I now understand their urgency to remind me to cherish every day, every moment. Maddie turns seven today. 7 seems like such a big girl. Everyone thinks they have the sweetest kids, right? Austin Six: February 2011
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 16, 2011. 8220;My Big Girl Panties”. Monday morning began like any other. Chris kissed me goodbye and headed off to Grundy. I stayed in the warm bed wishing I could sleep in, but instead I got up and proceeded with the usual routine. Four kids up and ready, teeth brushed, backpacks packed and out the door. I dropped everyone off at their appointed locations and suddenly the day changed from ordinary to really unordinary. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Diary of a HOME girl. The Six of Us.

Austin Six: October 2014
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. That is What is Important. I could go on for days. And I know I am not alone. There are lots of us in this boat. Only we aren't in the boat together. We are all scurrying along with our obligations or opportunities, if I may. That is what I wonder? What is the purpose of this? What is really important? Listing these dreams causes me to acknowledge how blessed I am. The purpose of this is simple. To love Him and love others. My "others" consist of these 4 little be...
