Molly Bee's Attic: Invited to Downton Abbey
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2015/08/invited-to-downton-abby.html
Tuesday, August 04, 2015. Invited to Downton Abbey. It was the weekend of museums! Weekend of museums. On Monday, friends Scott and Michael and I, hit the open road to Oshkosh to see the Downtown Abbey costume exhibit at the Payne Museum. What a magnificent venue to have it in! Is a Tudor mansion and they had each of the rooms decked out a la Downton. Pictures weren't allowed; a fact I didn't know until I got busted about 3/4 of the way through. Ooops! Oh well, my life of crime is your gain. After the Ga...

Molly Bee's Attic: Diva Challenge 228: Nature Tangles
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2015/07/diva-challenge-228.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Diva Challenge 228: Nature Tangles. Haven't done one of these in a while. Life has been moving a a gigabillion miles an hour this summer. But when I saw this one, I had to make the time to get 'er done. Cari Sultanik is the guest blogger over on The Diva's site. I've been doing this design and others on necklaces recently. I took a jewelry making class at Zentangle Expo last month. I may need some sort of an intervention, actually. Right in my wheelhouse it was! Queen of Your Own ...

Molly Bee's Attic: March 2015
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Diva Challenge and WZAC Meeting. Business first. This week's Diva Challenge was to use the tangle 'FLUX' in a tile. I've been working on the quote and main design in my doodle book for a couple of days now so I added FLUX to it. It's the plant like bits nestled in the border curves. I don't use FLUX much so it was nice to get acquainted with it. Maria's version of the pattern is on the top border and Rick's is in the lower border. I wish the meeting was more than quarterly! I jus...

Molly Bee's Attic: April 2015
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. This and That. Here and There. It's been a full couple of weeks. We have been out and about quite a bit; seeing the Baraboo Tiger Sanctuary, walking at the park in Belleville, and just rambling about in general. The highlight was when we went to see John Edward. No less that nine different friends sent me this picture; allowing that I need this yarn bowl in my collection. Huh. I can't think of why! I'm writing my letter to Santa right now to beat the rush! In the knitting departmen...

Molly Bee's Attic: Life On The Mighty Missip!
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2015/08/life-on-mighty-missip.html
Saturday, August 01, 2015. Life On The Mighty Missip! This morning I headed to Dubuque, Iowa to the Upper Mississippi Museum. I started up under where it says 'You are here' in Madison. I was in good company though. Some of those steerage boys were cute! After that, I roamed the museum which was chock-a-block full of amazing things to see dealing with the animal life and history of the Mississippi river. Creatures with stubby, little legs unite! This is a lousy picture but man were these paddle fish cool!

Molly Bee's Attic: November 2014

Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Weekly Challenge #195: "Turning Old into New". Today's Diva Challenge is by guest blogger, Sandy Hunter. Little Artoo is still on the mend and Laura's pinch hitters are really stepping up to the plate! The theme is 'Turning Old Into New', taking a tangle pattern you always use and using it in a new way. This was a thought provoking exercise. I found it very uncomfortable to do which tells me this will be a great thing to investigate further! Links to this post. What I did gain...

Molly Bee's Attic: September 2014
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Diva Challenge: Blind String and New Cabinets. I just love Laura Harm's blog. In addition to the challenge she posts every week, she posts the cutest pics of her sons and this week, the pic of Artoo in his little plaid shirt and sun glasses was too much. I could just smooch his whole face! She is blessed to have two adorable little boys. It's a kind of different look for my tile. Less cluttered than I usually do. I was all about the decluttering this weekend! The middle one i...

Tyrion the Nigerian Pygmy Goat, and Ellie the Mini Pig into the Heartland truck and head on over to the Fitchburg Fair. Photo courtesy of Sarah Konkle). For a tiny goat he was surprisingly difficult to catch on the 80 ACRE grounds! Finally he took pity on me and let me put the leash on him. He goes by just 'Loon'), a juggler/entertainer from the Madison area...

Molly Bee's Attic: December 2014
http://mollybeesattic.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. This week's Diva Challenge was right up my alley! No sting. One Tangle Pattern. Simple. It is about as far away from an 'official' Zentangle as you can get and it's not much of a looker but it sure was relaxing, just when I needed it most. Apparently I was so relaxed that I fell asleep taking the picture and so it's all crookedy! I aim to go back in at a later date and fill in the background but for now, it's.well.simple! Links to this post. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. For t...
