Finishing Well: Paring Down an AO Year – Crossing the Brandywine

Seeking Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Way of the Will. Finishing Well: Paring Down an AO Year. August 6, 2015. I wasn’t going to write this post. In a way it’s like going to a potluck and then listing all the wonderful things you chose not to eat. But I’ve observed I’m not the only one who sometimes runs out of months before running out of scheduled books. Stretch the books out, forget the calendar. Perhaps you’ll finish term three in September and start term one of the next year in late October. Of the a...

Mommy Foodie. Athlete. The fuel for a healthy life. Paleo-ish Banana Chocolate Chip Lactation Muffins →. Coconut Fish Sticks with Spicy Garlic Aioli. June 23, 2015. Here in Jersey it’s the season for fresh fish! It doesn’t get much fresher than when your dad delivers you fish that was caught that morning! I used fluke for this recipe, but any white fish would work. Flounder is easily accessible and pretty much the same thing. Give it a try! 1 pound fish filets. 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes. Paleo-ish...

Mommy Foodie. Athlete. The fuel for a healthy life. Newer posts →. April 25, 2015. This meal was fabulous, but by far the best part of it was watching my beautiful nearly 9 month old house some salmon! This kid loves her fish! It really is incredible watching your little baby pick through the food on her tray to find the bits of salmon. She never ceases to amaze me! This meal was super easy to grow together. I served it with a side of sautéed kale and it was super packed with nutrients! April 22, 2015.

Mommy Foodie. Athlete. The fuel for a healthy life. June 23, 2016. I was very down when I last shared stories of my personal battle to regain my health after giving birth to the most fabulous baby girl. I wrote a blog called New Year. New Me. I had grand plans, but I was only becoming discouraged. I am thrilled to report that while it may have taken me a bit longer than a year, but I. AM. BACK! I needed to keep myself honest. I would stay after the WODs and do cardio until I burned at least 500 calor...

Capitalism vs. the Stay at Home Parent | Sophie Christophy

Intersecting parenthood, childhood, education and consent. Capitalism vs. the Stay at Home Parent. March 24, 2016. August 18, 2016. In the eyes of capitalism, children are an unfortunate burden. Not only do they not participate in paid work, but they are a drain on resources. The best place for them, is out of the way. Or even better, reconceptualised as a product that can be traded. The Window of Approved Caring. Well no, not at all. They need you just as much as they did before. Now though you ...What ...

Chaos Meets Creativity: The things I have learned as a mother to many
http://createfor7.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-things-i-have-learned-as-mother-to.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. The things I have learned as a mother to many. If I had more time, I might write a book. I want to, but I also want to take a nap. Or go outside and play. So, for today, I just made a list of things. Things I need to read. Things that maybe you will need to read, too. Lessons that I mostly learned the hard way, which is good, since they tend to stick a little more that way. 1 I do not have patience. If I had a dollar for every time someone told me, defined me. And that is okay.

Yep, that’s a mouthful for a recipe name, but this recipe has a lot of deliciousness going on in it!
