I had been doing a good job making sure Dexter didn’t get into the paint tray, but while I was up in one of the corners I wasn’t watching and he had his first experience with the paint! Gray Daze: 4 weeks down

Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Cleared another week - 22 weeks (5.5 months) into pregnancy. 4 weeks on bedrest. Mentally, been a challenge. Physically overcame a few hurdles. But "I look to you" - remain steady in faith and focusing on bringing a beautiful baby girl into the world. Already trying to decipher my identity for the next few weeks/months and navigating through daily emotions. The days are the same but my attitude changes hourly. I have to stay focused. Days go by slow but the weeks go by fast.

Friday, October 16, 2009. 7 monhts - third trimester. Dexter had to help daddy with the crib. Maternity shot no. 1. Time flies when you are having fun. Nothing really new to report. The nursery is ready for decorating. the crib is up, the carpet is in. Specialist says he will see me at 32 weeks to see how big Layden is. My OB is now on bedrest so we have a different doctor. Joy. At least we get to meet him before he delivers us. We are blessed. And we get to see Grandma and Aunt Kendall in a week.

Thursday, July 7, 2011. Catching u up on your developments. Favorite things are airplane, motorcycle, trucks, tractors. Although motorcycle is not clear we know what you are saying because you freak out when you see it. Mommy plays a mean joke and if you are starting to fall asleep in the car and I don't want you to, I say I see a motorcyle and you jerk awake. Such a mean trick, but its funny to us. You have been able to put your whole alphabet puzzle together. You play ring around the rosie.
