While waiting to organise a new start date I decided to do a test run in the heat. I decided to ride to Petawawa, Ontario from my home in Stittsville, Ontario. The total distance was 307.8 km (191.26 mi) in temperatures that averaged 33C according to the ambient temperature gauge that is part of my Dispatch 1 power distribution system.

It was for a short time and was simply a result of momentary inattention, but since I have turned 50 my luck has seriously disappeared and now I will have to engage the town of Long Lake traffic court in a series of mail transactions as there is no way to pay the fine online.
