Sunday, October 24, 2010. Right now we are at the Spooner's in Oak Park, which is just north of LA. We are having lots of fun. Here's a few highlights from our last post. On the 17th we saw the Ducks play against the Coyotes at the Honda Center. It was cool. The Ducks won 3-2 and before the game there was a kid's section outside where you could have a scrimmage, be a goalie, or see how hard you can shoot. It was really fun. Friday, June 10, 2011. From Bled, Slovenia. When Venice was done we drove a little ways into Slovenia. Our town is called Bled and it's main tourist attraction is Lake Bled. It is a very nice small lake with a small island and a church on it. There are mountains all around. We are there as I am writing this and tomorrow we are making our way towards Hungary. Brad wondered, if the kids from Holland go one way and the kids from England go the other, where do the Canadian kids go? Glad youre having fun!

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. On Our way to Florida. We left for the second part of our trip on December 28th and crossed the border in Gananoque. We drove through Saracyuse and saw the stadiums where the basketball and football teams play. We drove through Binghamton, NY, and then spent our first night in Gettysburg, PA. The next morning we drove to the battlefield and checked that out. We also saw where Abe Lincoln gave his Gettysburg address. Well, It looks like it's time to go to soccer!

Saturday, May 28, 2011. It's been a while since I've posted a blog update. Well, on the positive side, we didn't have to wear a speedo. In Normandy we were at a campground where you couldn't swim unless you had a speedo on. Connor, dad and I each bought one! Connor and I were cracking up! It was very funny. He found out and lifted Connor over his head and shook him upside-down. It had a nice pool which felt warmer than it was when Dad and I dove in! It has a GIANT sun roof that covers the whole roof!
