Thoughts about food and life from a foodie. Monday, November 28, 2011. I came across an amazing potato recipe the other day - Potato Tartiflette. The evening I discovered it, I was wondering what I was going to do for dinner. So drawing upon the internet for inspiration, I came upon a variation on the potato gratin I did in a previous post. In this dish, the potatoes are braised in wine - an amazing concept. Like in the potato dauphinoise. 3 or 4 starchy russet potatoes. 1/2 a bottle of dry white wine.
