Response to “From Ruby to Go: a rewrite for the future”. March 9, 2015. I’m responding to the post located here: Original Article. I think the original post was all right for the most part, but there was one thing I didn’t like. He mentioned how easy writing parallel code in Go is, and gave an example, but didn’t give the corresponding ruby example, which I think is actually easier to understand than the go code sample he mentioned. This code is very straight forward and will fetch the urls in parallel.
