Monday, June 27, 2011. A week before school ended, Blaine had to do his first class presentation. They had to pick an insect, research 10 facts and make a visual. I personally disliked these class presentations growing up, but Blaine had a blast. He loved researching his facts both at school and at home. Monday, June 13, 2011. So Long 2nd Grade. The end of May brought the end of school for Blaine. What an exciting and challenging year it has been. Blaine had a great time with Miss Koontz and I am sure that she learned a thing or two from this class in her first year of teaching. (click here. Wednesday, August 6, 2014. On June 25th we began the process of diagnosing her seizures. We met with a new pediatrician Dr. Rebecca Riser and told her our concerns. She gave Delaney a clean bill of health (besides the seizures) and referred us to a neurologist. All hooked up. It will take some washing to get the gel out of all that hair. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Well about a month ago my laptop motherboard crashed. This means that all of my hard drive data is saved, but I have had no access to anything. We have now gotten a new computer, but unfortunately the hard drive was "locked" and denied us access. JULY: The biggest thing that happened this month was our little Leah was born. Leah Katherine arrived on July 30th, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz 21 in. long. Allie loves her little sister. Leah and aunt rebecca. She loves to snuggle. Grammie and the girls. Uncle david came to visit. AUGUST: Loving on Leah and Allie started 1st grade. Allie loves to read to leah.

Friday, July 2, 2010. Allie has enjoyed taking gymnastics at Flips this year. She enjoyed her class and I enjoyed her being able to run around at someone else's place. Each student received a medal at the awards ceremony. Here she is waiting for her name to be called. I was too late to get a picture of her receiving her medal. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. We actually made this marshmallow snowman a couple of days ago when it was 82 degrees outside even though it was the month of January. Saturday, August 29, 2009. First Day of Kindergarten. Wow, I can't believe the first day of school is over! It was a great learning experience for us both. We have begun a new season in our lives (Justin admitted that actually none of this affected him since he is at work all day) and are thankful that God is leading us through it. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Allie has started taking piano lessons at Baylor. She goes every Monday from 4-5 pm She is enjoying it and she loves playing the piano (just not practicing). She had her first recital on Oct. 25 and the students were able to wear their halloween costumes. She played 2 pieces and made no mistakes! We are so proud of her!
