The Traders… | Boscombe Vintage Market

Here we’ll tell you a little bit about our traders; we can’t guarantee that any particular trader will be present at each and every market as we all have “real” lives complete with outside commitments and domestic disasters too, or exactly what we’ll have for sale on any given day – that’s all part of the fun – but you’ll get the drift! 2 thoughts on “ The Traders…. The Dreaming Queen | Boscombe Vintage Market
https://boscombevintagemarket.wordpress.com/traders-pages/the-dreaming-queen
Tucked away in her attic surrounded by jars of many-hued buttons, The Dreaming Queen (who also goes by the name of Julia) snips and sticks creating colourful, quirky, vintage-style collages to adorn your walls. Each collage is painstakingly created to capture a perfect moment of nostalgia – from an innocent 1950s summer afternoon to the bygone glamour of an Edwardian romance to the formal glamour of the Elizabethan court. 2 thoughts on “ The Dreaming Queen. A recycled lifestyle…. Life on the edge between yesterday and tomorrow…. Laquo; April daze…. 8220;We thought we’d take the kids camping…”. Sorry I’ve been somewhat uncommunicative lately; I’ve had a fair bit on my plate and couldn’t find any time or head-space for writing. But in the meantime I’ve been busy on the recycling/reinventing front: I’m going Glamping on a Shoestring! I’m old enough to remember camping under canvas. Not family holidays; my dear Mama would. Rather than go camping! But my budget ...

CMI-8738 vs Jack - (AshbySoft *)
https://ashbysoft.com/wiki/CMI-8738%20vs%20Jack
Revert to this revision. A few years ago I bought an impressively cheap CMI-8738 based sound card from Trust, it cost £15 I think. Ever since I have been trying to find a way to use it reliably under Ubuntu linux for digital recording from our Akai DPS-12. The root cause is that as soon as you enable the S/PDIF input, the card stops delivering sample buffers via Alsa unless there is a valid S/PDIF signal present (ie: the DPS-12 is connected and. Remember to switch the DPS-12 on. Me dances a little jig.

ZTE-G X930 Insides - (AshbySoft *)
https://ashbysoft.com/wiki/ZTE-G%20X930%20Insides
Revert to this revision. I took Tom's phone apart. Since there do not appear to be any internal photos of the ZTE-G X930 mobile on the 'net at the moment (and it's not FCC registered) and Tom. Broke off his USB socket, requiring the phone to be dismantled, I took the opportunity to photograph the insides, enjoy (click for larger version):. The soldered in battery is a bit unusual - probably internal RAM backup (in which case we'd better hope Tom had nothing irreplaceable in there! Valid HTML 4.01.
