Map Me Murray River. The Mighty Murray River! Friday, May 15, 2015. Day 9 1560km to 1534km. Friday 15 May = 1560 - 1534 = 26km. Total distance = 178km. We woke to a very bright sunny day that I just had to take a photo of it - so please excuse the glare! So not alot was to be seen today, we did come across this hut and according to our map it is Grahams Hut which is on the old site of Grays' mill. As we get closer to Barham there are one or two more houses (which we haven"t seen since Torrumbarry weir!

We woke this morning and there were quite a few clouds hanging around - the forecast is for a change to come through and it will be a cold one with winds swinging from a northerly to a southerly! It is the last of our warm days before the southerlies arrive tomorrow and we got to a high of around 27 degrees. So it was perfect to take the bicyce trail that goes out to Simpsons Gap. Riding along you are between 2 parts of the West MacDonnell ranges and at one high point you are rewarded with sensational views of the Heavitree ranges . One tree I have always liked ...

Plenty of lovely house as we got closer to Barham and we say this lovely paddle steamer house boat parked outside someones house!

Map Me Murray River. The Mighty Murray River! Friday, May 15, 2015. Day 4 and 5 1649km to 1626km. Sunday 10 May = a forced rest day due to very strong north westerly winds and rain! Monday 11 May = 1649km to 1626km = 23km. Total distance = 86km. As you can see we had a rest day yesterday due to very strong north west winds up to 25km per hour and gusts well over 50km an hour and also heavy showers in the morning so we decided to have a rest day (the arms welcomed that! And here I am a rare photo of me.
