The St. Louis Family. Updates from our family of five. and updates from the Kili Climbers! We've had a busy fall. We went to Disney, and were in a family wedding. Apple picking and yard work have kept us busy at home. It's hectic, but, I think that life is always hectic with kids. For starters, we went to Disney at the end of September. We left Tate behind for the trip, though not by himself (we figured he's not quite old enough to care for himself yet). We had a fantastic time! In addition to those majo...

The St. Louis Family. Updates from our family of five. and updates from the Kili Climbers! I received two brief emails and photos from John early this morning. The first email read as follows: "Our day two campsite. Days are still nice, but last night got pretty cold. We slept at about 11,050 feet.". Doesn't look like the coziest place to sleep, huh? Here is the photo from the second email. Amazing to see that they've climbed above the clouds! And it takes 6-8 hours to reach the summit. The length of...

The St. Louis Family. Updates from our family of five. and updates from the Kili Climbers! Hopefully not much longer. Until we hear from the group! I still haven't gotten an email from any of them, so at this point I'm thinking that the cell reception must not be as good on the south side of the mountain (they ascended on the north side and will descend on the south side, I believe).
