Born at Guisborough. He was the eldest son of Colonel William Richardson, V.D. solicitor, of Guisborough and of Averil Mary his wife, daughter of Arthur Buchannan, solicitor of Guisborough, N Yorks of Daneholm, Sandsend, Whitby, N Yorks. Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own. Page 15 - Oct/Nov 1915 - Armentieres. On the 27th October 1915 63 men of the Bn attended a review by the King at Bailleul. Only casualty was one man injured by a bullet flying out of the fire and landing on his foot. Our Artillery practised as usual in the afternoon on Wez Maquart village. 7 men were admitted to Hospital. The Bn Diary reports a few men going in and out of Hospital each week. Those trenches taken over by the 4th Battalion in Sanctuary Wood had been quickly dug during the recent withdrawal of the Line. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. So, one day, we got some sad news. That we were being released! No, really, it was a very sad day. But, we had the chance to party one last time- cookie decorating! This really was one of my favorite calling EVER and I had such a hard time being released. I loved working with these girls, being with them, teaching them, learning with them, getting to know them! I hope they know how much I love them and how much I love the gospel, as well. I will miss you! Wrote up (I love it!
