Okapis and other essentials of life. Friday, December 13, 2013. After 2 months of rumours that the cold season was approaching, it is now officially upon us. There's no need for the AC at night AND we need a blanket to keep us warm! The cold is the number one topic of discussion. The general consensus is that while it's too cold in the morning and during the night, it is perfectly pleasant between 9 and 10. After 10 it gets hot as balls again but Boy, Oh Boy do we enjoy that one hour! It was 20 degrees.
