After spending a lot of time on Pinterest and talking with my daughters, I found that there are limited fashion blogs for those over 50! I strongly believe that you can look great at any age and I wanted to prove that! Along with sharing what makes a great outfit, I will be sharing what I do for myself. As a recent "empty nester" I find I have time on my hands, so as I work on other projects I will share those as well. I Would love to hear what you are doing to stay productive and busy!

Eric, Hillary, Q and A. Since Q LOVES Despicable Me, we had a Minion themed birthday at Mike and Sue's house. They were so sweet to let us have it there. Our apartment literally is shoe box and can hold NO ONE. Warning - Lots of Pictures*. When Q woke up from his nap and came down stairs to see all the decorations he got super excited and went straight for the balloons. Wilson enjoying the Cake. He decided just to play with his cake. Eric, Hillary, Q and A. Eric and I the other day were talking about how little snow Seattle has had so far this winter. Usually there is at least 1 or 2 days of snow where everything is cancelled! Well one Saturday night we happened to look out the snow and saw it was snowing! I had to speak in church the next day so the prayers for church to be cancelled started! We woke up the next morning to a lot of snow and since church wasn't till 11, we had to play in it! Wilson and Q are always playing together.

Eric, Hillary, Q and A. 224 pounds - 2%. We are down to 1 nap a day which is upsetting. I really liked having 2 naps! It was great for working and getting things done around the house. His nap is around 1 pm 2 pm and usually lasts for about 2 - 2.5 hours. He sleeps through the night! Usually he goes to bed at 7:30 pm and wakes up around 8 am. Its fabulous! Eric, Hillary, Q and A. Andrew left on July 23, 2014 for his 2 year LDS Mission. He was called to serve in the Quezaltenago, Guatemala Mission. He went straight to the Guatemala MTC to learn Spanish. He was there for 6 weeks before he was sent to the area in Guatemala where he will serve. He was our tech guru and the Go-to Guy. He has been doing awesome the last 6 weeks! Eric, Hillary, Q and A. My parents moved to California. I have been pretending they have been on vacation, so I haven't been able to see them. That helps more then thinking they have moved. Between me going there or my mom coming here I get to see them at least once a month. :). At the end of August, Q and I headed down to California. Q was pumped. We got our own row. He wanted to review all the safety precautions and know where the emergency exits were before we left. Reunited and it feels so good!
