My little girl graduated from Grade 8 on Thursday, with Honours. Seems like only yesterday she was going for her first day in Mrs. Potvin’s Junior Kindergarten class. Brendon was born 16 years ago today. Hard to believe really. The time sure flies by when you’re having so much fun! From the beginning he wouldn’t stop moving, and today, 16 years later, he’s harnessed that drive into so many things. An accomplished hockey player, cross country skier and runner, good student and genuinely nice kid, we’re so tremendously proud of him. Happy Birthday Mister B! From → Uncategorized. Mother’s Day 2012. Sunday was Mother’s Day, so for one day, Sue got to call the shots – sort of! First up – the first Nordic ski practice of the new season. Both Brendon and Shelby are now in the ‘year round’ program at Nakkertok Nordic ( www.nakkertok.ca. And Sunday was Day 1. Nothing like dragging your Mom out of bed at 6:30 am, on Mother’s Day, so she can come to practice with you! Sue, looking forward to the ride, not yet aware we had a bit of a wait. Coach Kieran wondering where he can find a coffee!
