http://hallsx4.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right. Monday, March 21, 2011. We had a whirlwind weekend trip to Berlin and let me tell you, Berlin is too big for one weekend! The next morning was the start of our busy, busy day! It was also very spread out and has been placed on our list of things to see again! All in all, it was a great weekend, just too short! So I will hush now and upload the pictures! Fasching, is the German's version of Halloween and it takes place right around the same time as Mardi Gras...

Things that I do that make my life beautiful. Skip to primary content. Spray Painting Office Chair. August 3, 2011. We bought this chair a few years ago from DI for a few bucks because we needed more chairs around the house. Not that anything is wrong with it, but I am looking for a lighter look for the office. It is actually a very solid well made chair. So off to Lowes for supplies. Easy Liquid Sander $5.48. 12 oz White Primer Spray $3.78. 12 oz Everglade Satin Spray Paint $3.78. Then I took another on...

Joy in the Journey: January 2015
http://joyinthejourneyadoption.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Joy in the Journey. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. When my husband and I took our foster care and adoption classes, I didn’t have six years into the future on my radar. For me the feeling of being a mom in six years was like looking into the future when I had graduated high school. I knew eventually I would graduate college and have to be an adult. But that seemed to play out in front of me like a Hollywood movie. It was something I could visualize, but would never actually act out. While it sounds simple, I...

Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right...: first day of school
http://hallsx4.blogspot.com/2012/08/first-day-of-school.html
Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right. Monday, August 27, 2012. First day of school. Well Miss Emma Sue started FIRST grade today! She is actually in a combined 1st/2nd classroom which we think is fantastic! She loved being one of the 'big' kids in the school and not in a 'baby' class anymore, her words! First graders are allowed on the big playground at recess and can take bathroom breaks alone, big stuff! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jillgg's good life (for less) good life for less.

http://hallsx4.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right. Sunday, December 26, 2010. That's how Mason says it anyway. You can tell my Dad is on vacation because he hounds me all day about not updating the blog. He gets upset when I post pictures on Facebook, because well Daddy doesn't do the FB. :) So here you go Daddy! We had a wonderful Christmas indeed! After some aircraft troubles, cancelations and delays, Dave made it home to Germany at lunchtime on Christmas! Sunday, December 5, 2010. This is what happens.

Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right...: January 2011
http://hallsx4.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Adventures in the Land of the Not Quite Right. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Or sledding. Emma prefers to call it sleighing but that sounds vicious, at least to me. We took the kids to the giant hill across the road from our little town and let them have at it. Mason loved it until he busted his face in the snow and then he was down, but who wouldn't be after that? Emma didn't want to leave and announced she wants to 'sleigh' everyday. hahahaha.
