They can bridge the gap between dinghies and cruisers, offering many benefits of both, to the adult beginner. Our keelboat is a Hawk 20 follow the links to see a picture or video of this type of keelboat. We use it to teach the RYA Keelboat courses, taster session or family / group sailing for fun.
