A short story a week for a year. 25F – Train. January 10, 2009. He looked down the rows of blue seats, tagged and cut sporadically, some draped in unwanted papers that shuffled slightly with the heavy rhythm of the train. To his left, someone had scratched deadshit into the glass. He was too tired to argue. And then went out. The lights stuttered back on, bright and welcoming. There was a sustained electrical buzz, followed by a loud crack, and the lights were gone again. He glanced up at the window.

Creative thinking for digital. Lies, Damn Lies and Research. Reading Daytum’s fine print. September 20, 2010. I just completed a Master Class with the Hyper Island. Crew here in Sydney – something I would highly recommend for anyone in the industry, whether from a digital background or not. Anyways, needless to say having a weekend to think about what we do all day and where things might be heading has given me a lot of grist for the blog mill. Which I’ll be looking to dip into real soon.

Here’s why:. 1) Went on a ten day technology-free holiday. 2) Came back in the middle of a large project. Holiday planned before project. You know how it is. 3) Then moved house. 4) And moved office.
