The Kenner Family: August 2013

Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Like Father, Like Son: Potty Training. The transition from diapers to potty training was very simple and easy for Jack. He's always been SUPER worried about being messy and he hated when his diapers were even a tiny but soiled. He would come up to me and say "Eww momma I poo poo" and want me to immediately stop what I was doing and change him, pronto! He didn't dare go potty on his pecious "woobies". So 4 nights ago after Jack had had another accident we sat Jack down and t...

Thursday, May 30, 2013. My Doctor gave me an A. Yesterday was my 20 week ultrasound and checkup. My ultrasound lasted a little over an hour and it was so exciting for Chris and I to see every cute little detail of our little boy. I've seriously never had that great of an ultrasound before and I loved being able to see each finger, toe, and his cute little pouty lips (he got those from me btw). This little boy's profile is just adorable! He has every single finger and toe and is growing magnificently!

My Own Little Corner: Nauvoo with the Kimballs
http://lisslasley.blogspot.com/2015/07/nauvoo-with-kimballs.html
My Own Little Corner. Thursday, July 16, 2015. Nauvoo with the Kimballs. My sister Rachelle came with her husband Kyle and their kids out to Nauvoo on vacation this summer. We were able to go down with them and enjoy being together. It was a beautiful clear day with blue skies and not a cloud in sight. Don't believe me, you should. This picture is simply a result of humidity in Iowa. Bleh! We started off by going to the Just Plain Anna Amanda show. There was some dancing involved. Jet liked the sheep.

Sunday, November 6, 2011. A trip to plan for a move! Last week Rob and I went to Oregon to find a place to live and to make other necessary arrangements for our upcoming move. We were able to get a townhome the first afternoon we were there. It is two stories and has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It is very nice and we know we will be very happy there. Here is Rob in back of the place:. We also saw a beautiful covered bridge on our way back. We spent the next day make a few more arrangements...

Saturday, September 18, 2010. Elder Kenner has left the building! We had a lovely farewell weekend for Daniel. On the 11th we had a nice open house attended by a huge crowd of people - at least half were teenagers and most of them girls! He went into the building with his two missionary escorts and we drove off. It is a little empty without him here, but he is in the right place at the right time and we are happy he is serving. Good Luck Elder Kenner! Wednesday, September 1, 2010. View my complete profile.

Friday, December 31, 2010. We had a great Christmas! Our Christmas weekend started on Christmas eve when we had a nice dinner together. Then we all got to talk to Elder Daniel in the Philippines! He is doing great and had three baptisms on Christmas day. He is very happy and says that he has an agreement with his companion that Elder Taylor cooks and Elder Nathan washes the clothes (by hand in a bucket). He says they eat well and the clothes are always clean! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mom to all boys.

Saturday, May 19, 2012. The campground is a county campground and all of the county and state camps have hookups which is awesome and only $25 per night! This one is just above the jetty and has so many trees that you can't see the campers next to you. We took a drive up the coast that day to Yachats. Along the way we stopped just above Sea Lion Caves ( it is an attraction that you pay and actually go down to the sea cave where the sea lions are) and we took this picture of sea lions sunning on a rock.
