If the man mountian came i must dig a hole on the ground to hide. There were no houses and no people. I am so scared and even my leg is shaking. I must wait for the man mountian to go then i can come out. Then i climb to the tree to pull down some apples,pears,coconut. Far away come and we became family.

Saturday, August 30, 2014. Today is Malaysia's 57th year of independence. I thought I'd honor my new home by sharing with you what has drawn me into this. When we were first presented with the idea of moving to Kuala Lumpur for work, I jumped at the idea of being able to live abroad. After all I've only ever lived in the USA and the lure of something different for a little while sounded too good to pass up. It was only a three year contract, so it's not like we were committing to anything long term.
