Friday, March 19, 2010. Fun at the Aquatic Center. This weekend while Joel and Brian took a father-son trip to Illinois to watch the Hope women's basketball team play in the final four, the girls took a little field trip to the local aquatic center. Grace and Ana had so much fun! It was the first time Grace has been tall enough to go down the water slide, and Ana was able to navigate all around the splash-zone independently! The concert was incredible, filled with not only great music, but quite a bit of personal conversation and testimony from both artists. Sunday, May 9, 2010. I really couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day. It came this year, perfectly placed, at the end of an amazingly busy week, but one that I will treasure forever. Joel had four performances this week for his Tulip Time show, "Puttin' on the Hitz" (with the Holland Chorale).
