Wednesday, August 12, 2009. First Day of School. Today is the first day of school. Hooray! Kiara is already in 2nd grade with Mrs Gonzales and Aidan is starting kindergarten with Ms. Gallegos. They were both very excited this morning. Stephanie even came over to do Kiara's hair before school. I'm glad to have them back at school but kind of sad they are growing up so fast. David had to work, but the Parnell's were there along with Grandma and Grandpa and Melissa. The weather was perfect! The kids spent most of the time working on a fort they built in the trees. One of the nights grandpa made a fire and we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. Claira just found the last missing one yesterday and enjoyed the candy inside!
