5 months to Mexico? Saturday, 30 March 2013. Three days. 25, 26, 27 March. Three days of ripio riding would take us to Puerto Natales, and our first salt water, Ie., the sea, for several months. The landscape was big, empty. But not without humour. At least I hoped it was a joke and not a warning. 5 months to Mexico? Wednesday, 20 June 2012. We have left Alaska. We have left Alaska entering Canada, namely the Yukon (I love saying that). We biked another dirt road almost 200miles long, which took us to Dawson City. With typical North American modesty they call it 'The Top Of The World Highway'. We are not sure quite sure why, but both myself and Sarah thought we may be disappointed with it. D: Soon we'll be in Dawson City, and hot food! S: And a bath! D: And a beer! 6% gradient the next 14kms'.

5 months to Mexico? Monday, 25 February 2013. Chile 20.02.13. At 1156am on Wednesday 20th February we entered another country for the first time. We left Argentina and entered Chile. I think the border crossing at Paso Futaleufu ranks as the prettiest border crossing I have undertaken, shadowing a large aquamarine river pinned between high mountains. The actual border process, for both countries, were also completely painless, the border guards both relaxed and friendly. I think I am going to like Chile".
