Wednesday, August 31, 2011. We were invited to our neighbor's 2 year birthday. She is a precious little girl who lives right down the hall from us. We were excited to get to be a part of her party, and we all had a wonderful time! Here is the birthday girl! Her name is Ramona. It is common for girls to wear very fancy dresses to these occasions. She was dressed so cute! Her big sister, Rachael, was dressed up as well! The kids played alot of fun games and also had some fun dancing! Friday, August 19, 2011.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Our Week of Language Learning. We just returned from a city in South Asia, where we met with several of our colleagues for a week of intensive language learning. We learned alot and the kids had a great time participating in a VBS. We had the priviledge of bringing our language teacher along. So, she knew exactly what we needed to work on. We are so thankful for her. We laugh alot with Sangita! Not only did we have class time, but we even played games to help us with our learning.

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka! Here are some pics from our trip. Here is a pic of Mason playing with some of the decorations in our room. Silly kid. We went to a local aquarium, where we saw some of the native fish of South Asia. It was interesting to see a blowfish so close up! 3 of them were washed up on shore. Not a good day for blowfish. Making friends with the local businessmen. One day, we took a boat ride down the river. The kids really enjoyed the experience.
