January: Our agency informed us that they officially lost their license in Ethiopia and we were given 2 decisions; Switch countries and remain with this agency or change agencies and start over with Ethiopia. Listen, this battle of "changing countries" (this time it was Uganda) had been looming over us for what seems like a year and each time we have asked the Lord for guidance, a peace has never been given to make the change. I found myself in Ps 143.

Friday, May 24, 2013. How we got to #1. First things first, my husband and I are in agreement with this being posted. Second things first, this road called "Adoption" it's not just about bringing this child/these children home. It's a tool the Lord uses to rid your life of everything not of Him. Put your big girl panties on. It's called sanctification aka adoptification. You might have seen this yesterday with a bunch of these! One of those was that we would find favor with the foundation we sent in an application for an adoption grant. I remember being on my knees on April 20th in my bedroom boldly asking the Lord. Life with Amare Dawit. October 19th was our 2 year Meetcha Day Anniversary. The first time we ever held our sweet Dawit. I cannot believe it has already been two years. I can still remember every moment of this day like it was yesterday. Just look at that cute little baby boy! We celebrated again this year with a trip to the pumpkin patch and a complete day of family fun. Dawit was only interested in small green pumpkins this year! October 24, 2012. So far this summer we have been to Tennessee to visit the Taylor’s, we had a blast! Tre and Dawit went to the busker fest and Dawit did his own street performance.
