http://wookilar.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2008. Today we visited the Littleton Historical Museum with our playgroup friends. There are cool outdoor areas (old houses, a barn, and animals) and a cute little indoor museum. In this picture, Ethan is playing with the exhibit that demonstrates how wheat is ground into flour. The Musings of a Space Nerd: February 2013
http://spacenerd.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
See My Other Blogs: Family Histories 1. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. My brother-in-law noted that not one of his family members who keeps a blog has actually posted to their blogs since November of last year. Well, here's a post just to spite you, thou brother-in-law who has to point out my deficiencies! That to little babies? All we could think of was that it is tradition, and we dismissed the curiosity with the understanding that this is our last baby, so let it be. See Other Related Entries: adoption.

LOS HEDIONDOS: July 2009
http://wookilar.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 25, 2009. We decided to try our hand at gardening this year and see how green our thumbs really are. We managed to get in a fairly good crop growing tomatoes, tomatillos, green peppers, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots, jalapeños and corn. Ethan loves to hide in the tomato plants. The zucchini was coming in faster than we could pick it! Cory, Kristie, and Ethan. Saturday, July 18, 2009. Working On The Bike. Ethan loves his new "big boy" bike and couldn't wait to help Papi tinker on it.

See My Other Blogs: Family Histories 1. Friday, July 13, 2012. First Camping Trip for the Foster Children. We knew that his previous caretakers drank alcohol, but to have one as young as him internalize that all daddies do that - even though I have never once drank a beer and we have never once purchased such a thing - was kind of sad. That coupled with the fact that he was so well-schooled in all of the various types of fast food ("Wanna go Taco Bell? See Other Related Entries: adoption. The Hunger Game...

Friday, October 31, 2008. Here is our scary little vampire before he went out for treats. We went to the ward trunk-or-treat and then took Ethan around to a few houses for the real trick-or-treat experience. Looks like Ethan made out like a bandit! Cory, Kristie, and Ethan. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Ethan had fun playing in the backyard. I guess vampires like doing gymnastics. And riding in toy cars. Cory, Kristie, and Ethan. Saturday, October 25, 2008. Friday, September 04, 2009. We were invited to go camping some friends in our ward. We were really excited since we had only gone once this year and this might be the last chance to go before it gets to cold. We had a lot of fun. What is it with boys and being in the outdoors? The Musings of a Space Nerd: March 2012
http://spacenerd.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
See My Other Blogs: Family Histories 1. Friday, March 2, 2012. It Takes a Village. There's an old proverb that says that "it takes a whole village to raise a child." As it has been just over a week since we've had two foster children placed into our home, we have felt this proverb very keenly in our lives, and are filled with such gratitude that it is difficult to express. The agency with which we're working has all sorts of support groups available for people who are doing what we're doing, but we feel ...

http://spacenerd.blogspot.com/2013/09/disaster-blessing.html
See My Other Blogs: Family Histories 1. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Disaster . blessing! I am now, FINALLY, a father of five! My wife and I adopted our foster daughter a few weeks back and then last Saturday we took her to the temple to have her sealed to us for eternity! We tried for 2 years to get pregnant, only to have our happy pregnancy end in a horrible miscarriage. After that, we tried for 4 (! More years, with no success, secretly fearing that we were never going to have children again . th...

The Musings of a Space Nerd: The Measure of the Obama Presidency
http://spacenerd.blogspot.com/2008/11/measure-of-obama-presidency.html
See My Other Blogs: Family Histories 1. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. The Measure of the Obama Presidency. So it is with great interest that I intend to watch Barack Obama as he leads the country. I am worried that he will press every far-left liberal policy he's wanted to (but I think he'll be temperate), and I hope that Congress will act rationally at this time and appropriate keep him in check. It is truly the Democrats chance to shine . or to go down in flames. In making Americans safer, have any rig...

Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Things I've learned from making simple, healthy changes in my life. I have been trying to change to a healthier lifestyle over the last several months. I have cut back on the processed foods as much as I can and have increased the amount of water I drink daily. So what have I learned? Lesson 2 Liste...
