This is something that can easily be done at home. An example would be if you are reading the newspaper, Internet. Article, or magazine. You can talk about how you respond to text while you read. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Today students studied the difference between "standard" and "inferential" subheadings. Standard subheadings basically tell you what the section is about, inferential requires students to use their Background Knowledge and Text Clues to help them understand what the subheading means. I have recently returned home from a nice vacation at the beach. One of the highlights of the vacation was the food. On day one we went to Bluecoast and got lobster cavatappi (pasta with a cream sauce and chunks of lobster) and amazing crab cakes. We also had a roasted beat salad that was delicious.
