Had an accidental dinner tonight at the Heinz’s. A beautiful night. A glass of wine. A new neighbor. Kids in the pool. Then Sam went BAM! Sam is Samantha. The Heinz’s 7 year old daughter. Today I went to visit the Heinze house. When I got there Mrs. Heinze asked if I could play! While we were there Samantha said let’s decorate the fairy garden! Our kids, however, seem to think they’re the best thing since sliced bread. As far as parents go, we’ve drawn a fairly aggressive line. No sleep overs unless we TRULY know the parents of the other child. The good news is that we don’t TRULY know very many people — so that limits the universe fairly well. Liam the cool dude.

We went to our church picnic this afternoon at Meadowkirk in Leesburg, VA, a beautiful old farm. The food was delicious, and the company was great .
