I started this blog in 2009, as a way to document all those moments in life that we swear we'll never forget, but who are we kidding? Where'd the Sixty Toes come from? We've grown since then, we now claim seventy toes, but old habits die hard. Sixty Toes remains. As I'm ever-learning the tricks of the trade.

Tuesday, September 3, 2013. All quiet on the western front. I try to wave the kids off to school each morning when I'm not frantically taking care of last minute "Oops, I forgot to have you sign this, Mom" kind of things (We've had one of those already, four days into the school year! We had a lunch box full of candy, too, this morning, but that's another issue entirely. Now I best get Sam out of his crib. It sounds like a war up there. He's yelling at something and it's hilarious. Congrats and good luck!

Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Fun in the Snow (Idaho snow that is! In February, we journeyed to Idaho for David's mother's funeral. Of course, they still had plenty of snow. We were able to spend a day in Island Park. Playing on the snowmobiles. It was a blast! The kids had big smiles and red cheeks, while David and I enjoyed the speed.
