Missions Heart Costa Rica: Do you know what your calling is?
http://missionsheartcostarica.blogspot.com/2014/02/do-you-know-what-your-calling-is.html
Sunday, February 23, 2014. Do you know what your calling is? Having a purpose and calling in God. Is what it is all about! That is what we are striving to live out. Having a purpose in God is one thing. Everyone has a purpose in God. And it often changes according to time and situations. But your calling does not change. Whatever your calling is is what you function in no matter what time or situation you are in. This I can do, no matter where I am or what situation I am in. Through the years the Robinso...

Missions Heart Costa Rica: 07/17/09
http://missionsheartcostarica.blogspot.com/2009_07_17_archive.html
Friday, July 17, 2009. The Robinson Family Summer in Costa Rica 2009. We actually moved to Costa Rica on May 25th. We had a time getting here as obstacles kept getting in our way, like cars breaking down, and being flagged for a random security check at the airport in Orlando. It was an adventure just getting to the country! But we made it here, safe and sound! Our first week here was about finding a house to rent, and then moving in and getting needed household supplies. The eighth week we received 96 p...

A year ago we moved from Costa Rica to Florida in order to allow Spencer to concentrate full-time in the Children's Ranch. We thought that we would only be here for a year.well, that was an aggressive goal. We are not sure exactly when we will return to Costa Rica, but we have made exciting progress. Spencer has traveled back and forth several times, scouting out land, arranging the purchase and finally signing the papers. The land is beautiful. But, oh man, is it going to be a lot of work! He has shown ...

Wow what a month! While most of the United States is cold and dreary, things here have been warm, sunny, and incredibly fruitful. God has done some amazing things, and I'm so excited to share them with you. Since the last update. We've hosted five different mission teams, distributed child sponsorship materials to 136 children, started two new feeding ministries, and have built two new homes! It was such a blessing to be able to help these children and their families in such a powerful way. God then brou...

Daughters, Fathers, and Seed Carrying Boys. January 12, 2010 in Uncategorized. PHOTO from TBWB photos). I have been asked all sorts of things concerning my family living in Costa Rica as missionaries. One of the more entertaining questions has been, “What if your daughter wants to marry a local? 8221; The answer is simple. “Have you read Genesis chapter 29? Please pray for my daughter. Don't want to jinx them, but holy-moly! Two things that I really dislike are: mayonnaise on my hamburger and #NancyGrace.

Spencer's Ramblings - Miraculously Mundane. It's hard to explain, but it was like a comforting rebuke, as only God can do. A perfect love, accompanied with perfect truth. For me, personally, this past week was truly life changing. To have the opportunity to get back into the trenches, roll-up my sleeves, and get my hands dirty for Jesus! It was so exciting to be part of such a fruitful week. For example our very first day we had the opportunity to deliver food, and pray for little Jose Antonio! Now it fe...

Spencer just returned from a trip to Costa Rica. While he was there, he toured the property we are considering for the Children's Ranch. The architect who is helping with the project also came to view the property and let us know of the usability of the land. He gave it a huge thumbs up! So, unless God slams this door shut, we are pursuing this piece of land. It is 50 acres of hilly land with two rivers flowing through it. What an incredible display of the beauty of God's creation! Ramblings - Unstoppable Force. God has done some amazing things through 6:8 Ministries over the past four years! It's hard to believe that it all started with a vision to provide affordable life-changing mission experiences. While we knew there was power in mobilizing the body of Christ, I don't think any of us imagined that it would lead to where we are today. I have recently begun to re-read. What an awesome privilege it is to be part of the body of Christ! The fact that God wants to use, and has empow...

Two in a Million: January 2010
http://gabeandstaci.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Two in a Million. Two who found one love thats true. Out with the OLD. I've found that being a bank teller is especially rough on the shoes.standing/walking around all day can really put some strain on your feet. I knew my feet were taking a beating.but check out what I did to my shoes. Please notice the heel is in its normal position, allowing one to stand normally). 4 months of being a teller and undergoing continuous wear. Seriously. This is what I'm walking around in today. My week in a nutshell.
